Kapil Sharma – Firangi is About Pre-Independence Era

Kapil Sharma was spotted the trailer launch of Firangi, during his media interaction the actor quipped that the movie is set in the pre-independence era and slice of life.

“Films about the pre-Independence era have always shown the darker side of that time, but people still lived their lives and had happy moments. This film talks about those moments.”

“People will love to see the slice of life feel in that era, they will be able to see how people lived in harmony and had some small fights too. Manga, my character, does not feel that the Brits were bad” said Kapil about the film during his media interaction.

The trailer of Kapil Sharma’s second film Firangi is out, the film is Historical Period Drama Comedy set in the year 1920 and it’s being directed by Rajiev Dhingra. The film also stars Ishita Dutta and Monica Gill in the lead roles.

The trailer is interesting and hilarious! Sharma plays the role of a British servant in the movie named Magga, who is a lover as well as dedicated towards his work. The movie is a mixed bag of happy, sad, and funny moments. This is actor’s second Bollywood film after his hit Kis Kis Ko Pyaar Karu.

The film also stars Aanjjan Srivastav, Maryam Zakaria and Raju Srivastav (special appearance). “Firangi” is scheduled for release on November 24.
